The Correct Way Means Customized Clinical Programs
Correct Rx delivers a team of professionals with years of experience under our lab coats. This has enabled our clinical department to design an evaluation system that not only meets all regulatory requirements, but provides useful data that can lead to cost reductions. The Correct way fosters a close working relationship between pharmacy and customer. We have identified six Global Areas of Focus (GAF) when considering performance based standards:

Dispensing & Delivery How the order is received, processed, documented, filled and delivered to the appropriate facility.
Continuous Quality Improvement Comprehensive Goal Setting, Implementation, Review and Revision; Data Collection, Interpretation, and Recommendations; Communication: Reports and Meetings
Professional and Clinical Program Management Developing, Implementing, and Assessing the Strategy for each of the Global Areas of Focus
Training, Education and Staff Development All aspects of training and development: includes what we provide, what we require, and what we encourage for our staff, clients and customers.
Regulatory Adherence, Licensing and Credentials Absolute assurance that Correct Rx and its employees maintain and follow all mandated regulations. We strive to exceed compliance standards.

Accuracy and Evaluation
Accuracy is an important component in controlling drug costs. Correct Rx will produce accurate utilization reports focusing on the percentage of patients currently taking medications, the number of prescriptions per patient, appropriate therapies with an emphasis on patient safety and any other necessary quality indicators . These quality indicators will be monitored and compared to facility statistics and industry standards. Improved patient care is always our goal.

Correct Rx's clinical pharmacists also constantly evaluate primary medical literature to determine which medication regimens produce the best outcomes. Our recommendations are always clinically sound and based on community standards of care.

Strategies
In order to guarantee the best customer and patient care, Correct Rx puts several strategies into action, such as use of a formulary, improved bar code technology, automatic substitution, automatic lab monitoring, clinically sound protocols, customized forms and automatic stop orders.

A review of utilization reports and disease states analyses will determine which high-cost disease states must be addressed.

Generic Medications
Another logical solution to many cost issues is the use of generic medications. Correct Rx uses FDA approved generic medications when available unless the physician specifically requires a name brand medication.
